Wedding Ceremony Registration

Important Information Regarding your Ceremony. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
  • Please watch this instructional video before registering.
  • First you will need to schedule your wedding ceremony date. The ceremony fee is $10.00. The Clerk of the Circuit Court collects that fee and charges an additional $4.00 convenience fee. Once your date is scheduled come back to the home page and start your marriage license application online, HERE.
  • Upon completing the application, both parties MUST then appear at the DuPage County Clerk's office, 421 N. County Farm Rd. Wheaton, IL 60187 and present proof of age, proper identification, and a license fee of $35.00. If you have questions please call, 630-407-5500.
  • Weddings are performed at the: DuPage County Judicial Center, 505 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton IL. 60187 Bring your Marriage License with you the day of the Ceremony. When you arrive for your Ceremony please go to the 2nd floor Courtroom 2010. After you go through security the elevators are located to your right. Registration starts at 11:30 a.m., your private ceremony will be performed in order of arrival.
  • Cameras and Cell Phones with camera capability will be allowed. When you arrive, please inform Court Security that you are here for a marriage/civil union ceremony. No photos are permitted in the Hallway only in the Wedding Courtroom.
  • Interpreters should only be requested for the Bride and Groom, not for guests.

All payments are final. Failure to show up on your wedding day will not warrant a refund.
